About us

During my Mindfulness Teacher Training I started wondering who and how I would like to teach. It has always struck me that learning the tools of mindfulness in a secular way seems to be a privilege for those who are relatively well off. In the more religious (buddhist and hindu) context, there is a long tradition of offering teachings and retreats on a donation base – or even for free if somebody has no financial means at all. But not everyone wants to learn about mindfulness in a temple or monastery. That’s why I wanted to find a way to allow disadvantaged and vulnerable groups to participate in secular mindfulness courses.
At Two Wings we strongly believe that learning how to practice mindfulness should not be a privilege for the wealthy. For us, making mindfulness more inclusive is an integral part of the practice itself - an active expression of the two wings of mindfulness: insight and compassion.

I would most definitely recommend Jessica as a mindfulness teacher. Her course really helped me reduce my stress and anxiety levels.

The few reserves that I had as we learned that the course would take place online soon evaporated, as we saw that everything was so well organised and that you were able to give the course a clear direction, which was easy to follow. I felt that all the participants shared this feeling.  I feel that I am ready to practice on my own and really cannot wait to put in place my own daily routine.

Tommi

I was sceptical at first, but it didn't take long to realise that I could lead my life in a much more peaceful, empowered, and less stressful way, using the techniques taught by Jessica. She is patient, kind, caring, and with an aura of calm, led us through different types of meditation. Thanks so much Jessica, and for those who are thinking about attending, I would encourage you to go further and take the plunge.

Jo

I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough as a mindfulness teacher. Kind, considerate, knowledgeable and enjoyable approach to mindfulness. I wasn't sure how I would take to the course but I loved every minute, and she has given me tools that have made a real difference to my life.
